Current Sermon Series
Red Letters: The Words of Jesus
The words of Jesus have transformed lives for over 2,000 years. In many Bibles, His words stand out in red—bold, powerful, and full of truth. But what do they really mean for us today?
In this three-week series, we’ll explore some of Jesus’ most important teachings, starting with His first invitation: “Come and see.” His words were never just information—they were an invitation to experience life with Him, to follow Him, and to be transformed by Him.
Join us as we dive into the Red Letters of Scripture and discover how Jesus’ words still shape our faith, challenge our priorities, and call us into a deeper relationship with Him.

Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan, formerly known as Emmanuel School of Religion, is a distinguished graduate theological seminary affiliated with Milligan University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Established in 1965, the seminary is dedicated to preparing men and women for effective ministry in various areas, including worship, preaching, pastoral care, Christian education, evangelism, cross-cultural missions, chaplaincy, and teaching. The seminary offers accredited programs such as the Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.), Master of Arts in Christian Ministries (M.A.C.M.), Master of Divinity (M.Div.), and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.).
Our support for Emmanuel Christian Seminary plays a vital role in sustaining its mission to equip future leaders with a robust theological education. This is the amazing thing about the peace that God offers: it isn`t dependent on our circumstances. We can experience peace even in the middle of a storm.

Jesus gave the model for how we’re supposed to treat others. We’re called to serve. We’re called to lay down our lives for the sake of others.
