Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan, formerly known as Emmanuel School of Religion, is a distinguished graduate theological seminary affiliated with Milligan University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Established in 1965, the seminary is dedicated to preparing men and women for effective ministry in various areas, including worship, preaching, pastoral care, Christian education, evangelism, cross-cultural missions, chaplaincy, and teaching. The seminary offers accredited programs such as the Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.), Master of Arts in Christian Ministries (M.A.C.M.), Master of Divinity (M.Div.), and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.).
Our support for Emmanuel Christian Seminary plays a vital role in sustaining its mission to equip future leaders with a robust theological education. God does some of His most meaningful work when we stop depending on ourselves, and learn to rest in Him.
God never promises a life free from sorrow. He does promise that we can run to Him and He will comfort us. He`ll never leave us alone.
There`s no such thing as secular or sacred work. Whether you work in a church, a mechanic`s shop, a sales office, a hospital, or are in school...all work is holy. We do it all as unto God.
Some of the greatest people you`ll ever meet, and a God who loves to hear our praises!
We weren`t meant to walk through life alone. God puts us in family and in community to help each other out!
This is the mark of a believer…not that they’re just nice. Not that they don’t take advantage. But that they proactively love others the way they would want to be loved.
We often want instant transformation, but God does His deepest work over time. Faith is formed through consistency, not shortcuts.
You are not overlooked or forgotten. God knows every detail about you, and still loves you.
This verse reminds us that perseverance is part of the process God uses to produce fruit.
Be holy. Be virtuous. Be generous. But love is what`s called for the most in the life of the believer.
Today we celebrate the women who give love generously...through motherhood, mentorship, spiritual care, and everyday faithfulness.
We can have peace in spite of the chaos that surrounds us. God can calm our spirits if we submit to His leading.
